I Look To You

EllaBrady98

    As I sit here
    Alone, thoughts wandering
I long for your voice, your scent
Like a dog, awaiting their owner

Waiting to be graced by your visit
I sit and daydream of what's to be
I look to the Blue Sky as my mind lingers
How could someone so pure, love me?

    A soldier to the King
    Is all I've ever been
    But now it would seem
    This is a reprise

    My mind is full
Of so many beautifully intricate words
    All of which
I need you to hear, desperately
