When I sent my book to a Greek poetess,
She wrote me a letter to kindly bless,
Her mind, my book did really impress,
Her views, she did very kindly express.
-
Forty lines contained each poem,
She wrote, "'long poems", avoid them,
It will give remembering problem,
Each little poem is a gem my chum"
-
She was for the Nobel nominated,
But, humility only in her dominated,
My charm was by her appreciated,
Her mind, she very frankly stated.
-
She died after some months to agonize,
But, her shrewd words do mesmerize,
Her advice surely needs a great praise,
I feel she very kindly opened my eyes!
-
When the poem is short, all will read,
Time saving has become world's need,
In a way, to her advice, I respectfully heed,
She has sown in my mind a fertile seed!
