My Dear Jade Rabbit

Pazuzu

Why should the moon have holes in it?

Well not because it's made of cheese.

That would be quite silly!

No, there is a rabbit.

A small rabbit, no bigger than those

You see every day

And the rabbit glows and shimmers like

Jade

And he digs tunnels and caverns all through our moon.

Because he is searching

What is he searching for?

Why for his mother, Chang'e,

She has been lost, since her Hou Yi has died

And it's the rabbit's job to find her

Again.

For she cannot find

Herself.
