The Jealous Serpent

Jealousy is like servant

Filling your mind with green

Leaning over your tortured soul

Like serpent ready for the feed

You don't really see this green lava in me

I have a great need to seem special you see

Uniqueness, to me, is flawless you see?

It's better than a crown

How did you get yours,

Are you finished with it now?

You don't really want the accolades

Why not pass it on to someone with a bit more experience.

Give it to me,

Oh hell, I deserve it

I've tried sweet persuasion

Ive tried to be alluring

What else do you want from me, But all of my fury?
