Lies leave my mouth so easily 

I wish that weren't how it had to be 

But I bite my tongue and hold my breath 

Anticipating the coming of death 

Once upon a time I believed in a soulmate 

Who would blind me to the troubles all around  

But now only morbid thoughts appear 

The dreams and desires of a young girl are gone from this world 

Still she hopes, because she knows it was left in that box. 

That box she hadn't stopped looking for
