Dualities

sorenbarrett

We say that dumb beasts don't feel the cold

That children don't care for the old

But it is us, in our ignorance, that think they don't suffer

Or that the young don't care for another

There's a barrier that keeps us from what others feel

So we believe only what, we perceive as real

Ignorance is the biggest barrier of all, well said..

Such a dichotomy you present here dear poet, and one we must grapple with each day. So very well written my friend.
