Moonlight Daisy

SakreBle

In the moonlight
In a clearing shrouded in darkness

bloomed
a small daisy.

She appeared suddenly,
completely uninvited
unfolding its white petals
stretched out in the darkness of the night.

No one paid any attention to her
there was no one
in the solitude of the night
With her only companion the moon.

She swayed joyfully
In the silver glow she danced
the delightful dance
of a newborn creature.

Until the sun rose.
The warm rays of the morning replaced the darkness

And the daisy -
daisy curled its leaves
and withered quietly in the bustle of the morning
taking one earthly soul with it.

 Moon daisy.

(I align feminine energy with the Sun
    more than the Moon
that all powerful emblem of life giving
    nurturer's of wisdom and empathy;
    the moon's merely a drag
    on mother earth's rotation
that sounds more like a male thing to do..
    lol)
    forgive my over opinionated words
    I thoroughly enjoyed the rhythmic
to and from, of your poem's flow
thanks for sharing, a lovely read
