Love and Chaos

CarolAngelPub

Deep down in a small place,

neither of us can begin to steer it in a suitable direction,

it moves us spontaneously

often into weird but desirable mixtures

some can create the Ultimate Façade while others sink at its gracious climax

never at first envisioning the tarnish of slick glossy paint.

We stride as we please, never thinking the inevitable

until we are upside down in an awkward shaped corner.

Seeking for sight through a hollow tunnel.

the darkness is of excitement, until the beam is upon your grace.

Tension begins reaching at your nerves,

disagreements and conflict eventually surface,

as special flavors on a damaged taste bud.

Triggers slowly evolve to targets of the intentions.

wasting no time, the victim of a nightmare without notice rages out of control.

Feeding a wave of destruction, until true colors are emerged.

Warmth that once captured ur flesh, has you vibrating in disbelief

blinking repeatedly to satisfy your gut.

The grip of your palms are no longer slip resistant.

Holding back liquids that shine the outer surface of your perfectly created smile.

Choosing the lustful desire of one’s flesh,

spitting them towards feet of opposite standard

remaining irritable, not knowing you’re one stroke away from the same mishap.

Air seeps from a cracked heart that was once sealed tightly.

Questions are unanswered, leaving u with valid assumptions

Was that you from above oh father ,

please send me a spear of whispers that penetrates my blocked but vulnerable ear

that seems to drain through out the night

until light brightly brings reality back in site

cause the inner me is hoping to sore as a peaceful dove,

without being shoved back and forth in a turmoil of fear.

My dear oh lord again I ask is my time near to clear my tear.

  • Comment from author about the poem: " When I first started writing "LoVe and ChoAS" I was seemingly in a happy place reflecting on past challenging relationships. Comparing certain situations emotionally and physically; my mind began to form a time line of specific feelings, reactions, and I must say some of the least exciting moments! Periodically I started accepting that the thoughts were getting more intense so I decide to write them down over the course of two years, never with the intent to publish any type of writing." - Brandon Hood
