The Hero in Me

Cyndee

I gave my kids up to strangers I did not know at all. I did not go to see them or even give a call. Not till they were older to find out where I was. She really let me have it just like she always does. I was shocked with what she said to me, thanked me for what I did. To give her to a stranger for a better life to live. Its been 20 something years since that awful day. the day I gave my kids away. I beat myself up and used drugs to numb the guilt. All that time rhey were gone a better life they built. Today we talk maybe not every day. I will go and see them when I make a way.
