      It is "The Hate You Give"

Yet it is the hate we give.

Love is strong but hate is stronger.

Both are weapons, neither is wronger.

It is "The Hate You Give"

Yet, If I give you love will you give me hate?

And if I receive your hate, am I allowed to reciprocate? 

It is "The Hate You Give" 

  But my melanin is not hate.

My melanin will dance ambitious steps around your gun.

My soul will sing a song of peace until love has won.

It is the hate we give.
