Sunny afternoon

 

Window opens to the light outside

 brings the beauty of the afternoon

Slanting sun shows the candid pictures of

shadows of trees here and there

Birds chirping, moving in wings rare,

communicating with each other in different

sweet tones of nameless language

Common kites with a white body inside

rounding up not so high, wings stretched,

as if they are preaching the lesson of silence

Blue feathers drop from above, blessing earth

A branch spreads up high with glittering leaves,

a loaf of white cloud sits over in the midst

sings the music of horizon unheard…

 

Far, a part of bright green meadows

where a few cows stand chewing and

squirrels jumping, running restless

All standstill for few seconds, then

a gentle breeze flowed in and gains

force to turn as a wind, and closes the window

Green, white and blue fill over the eyes...

The beauty and shades depicted
