I Wonder

How am I viewed by others?

Am I an asshole,

Or do I have a soul?

It’s just one of my wonders.

 

If through others I could see,

Would I like me?

It would be nice to know,

So, I could change tomorrow.

 

What does it take to change

Who I am?

Do I even need to?

Something,

Somebody just give me a clue.

 

I strive for good,

But am I empty,

Or am I misunderstood?

I wonder.

    I've come to the conclusion that it's okay if some people don't like me, as long as I like myself. You know what they say, you can't please all the people all the time... Just keep striving for good and your tribe will find you. Your words are clear and thoughtful.
