Forgotten

moonhoney

The flower died,

the leaves are rotten,

the beautiful petals,

all are forgotten,

around it you can see,

dry grass hugging hollow trees,

and from across the scenery,

a strong wind revives the lifeless greenery

  • Comment from author about the poem: what is left when everything we work for doesn't really matter in the end? like dried out greens failed to grow
