Unhidden

JG

Those words came out after almost a decade of being hidden away.

Hidden in a dark room in the back of her mind.

But what was once a secret, was in the ears of another.

The armor she wore was finally taken off, she could breathe softly now.

She could live swiftly, move lightly, and think clearly.

Those few words, that one secret; hung over her like a dark cloud for so long.

Who knew someone so brave, constantly felt so powerless.

But that is no more, she is free now.

Life has begun.
