Despair

swagpillows

she feels like her world will end in despair
she feels that's she lost everyone who would care
she feels lost in things that don't matter
feels like she balancing life on a platter
that with one wrong move, she'll trip and stumble
everything she holds dear will tumble
tumble down into a dark abyss
where nothing is found and there is no bliss

she might as well be holding onto a thread
though she fears its all in her head
it would be so easy just to cut or to tear
and drift away into the air
she wish she could disappear
would anyone notice that she wasn't here?
would they cry?
wish they could have said goodbye?
or would they just go on with their day
even though she went away?

she knows she will end in despair
and she knows that no one will ever care

    such alarming despair
yet the mere fact, that its essence
    reads so relatable
is a window, to the true fractured depths of our world state
    where isolated existence
full of woe and a callous universe's
    chaotic indifference
is the everyday reality for far
    too many..
