Rays of Hope

DestinysPerspectives

I didn't want to feel like a brutal snow storm.
I wanted to feel like the fall where cold and warm meet.
But feeling like this didn't make me feel better.
I wasn't growing with the seasons while remaining in the fall.
So one day I said enough and called for the brutal snow storm.
It wasn't easy to stand tall while the atmosphere dropped to a brutal temperature I didn't know could exist inside of me.
I watched as each frozen tear poured out of me by a uncontrollable force that shook me to my core.
Now it's turned into a gentle drizzle of rain drops during the summer months.
Soon the rain will stop and a beautiful double rainbow will appear.
I know I can't escape the emotions that the seasons evoke inside of me and I am okay with that.
I know now that as I grow the seasons won't bring extreme conditions like before.
What's changed is that with each season change the sunshine will remain with me in my heart keeping me warm with it's rays of hope.
