By the sea

moonhoney

my heart feels
like a stormy sea
the wind howling through the waves
the rain cutting through the liquid daughter
a cliff slowly crumbling into the wild water

overwhelmed by the power
overcome by the storming hour
tired from the struggle
hopeless lowering a bloody knuckle

midst the violent scene
a little light tower almost unseen
his lights are weak and full of doubt
will any ship ever make it out?
