Dark street

Mehran Nisar

Indeed on this immoral street

I was searching the moral

the scenes like the cloth

covers the wet although

the branches on one another

captures the light indeed

and the street all day

seems like the evening

the darkness all around

more the eyes all dark

not seeing any thing

which i could touch and feel

hoping for the light

as i am aware of the branches

move on through the street

with my eyes dark

the hands in the pocket

without afraid of any thing

moving on through the street

hoping for the bright light
