when I am gone

jazzwa30

When I am gone don't cry

Think of my smile that illuminated your soul

Think of my laughter noted in any room

Think of my warm words that nuzzled your spirit

Think of my alluring glide through life

When I am gone don't die

    Amen!
    such a powerful message
    (see, it's so rare
    to find genuine love
    or kinship in our lives
so we anchor all our worth
upon those who share life's burdens
    with us
    and like a deflated balloon
    if we lose this individuals
    we feel, empty of air
    find ourselves
wishing for an end to it all
    yet
    we forget, when they left
    they entrusted us
    with all the future smiles
    they missed out on
    so we, endure
    we keep on, remembering them
    cherishing them
    yet celebrating them, by laughing
    that much louder
loud enough for it to count
as the sound of two people...)
