Peace

undreamed_friend

In the path of searching you,
I got wounded.
My scars told me how badly I tried,
With all hopes vanished from my heart.
I sat under a shrub,
Thinking where I went wrong.
A little kitten sat on my lap,
Made me feel a little relaxed.
Peace is found when you stop searching for it,
That is what the chirping birds told me,
With beautiful sunbeams falling on my heart.

This poem really touched my heart because I relate. I interpreted it as you need to stop searching for someone because the more you try the worse you get hurt. Sometimes you have to let things go and it hurts a lot but it is what's best for you. Don't let them keep hurting you.

Thanks a lot. I can feel the pain you have felt once. That was the inspiration for writing it. Last but not least thanks for your lovely advice. In this world, we have to forgive ourselves because people now don't care anymore.

Yes that is all very true people truly don't care anymore that is why I publish poetry online so other people who understand poetry and actually care can read my stuff.

Such a delicate little poem. I found peace just reading it. Thank you. Young folks like you are inspiring to older folks like me. A kitten in one's lap is a wonderful metaphor for happiness from the simplest things, peace from the warmth of another creature.
