The Shell

cryptoking

I washed up on the shore one day

And discarded by the couple who found me

But alas an angel found me

And took me from the spray

She took me home and cuddled me

And made me right at home

She polished me and showed me off

To all that she has known

I peeked out of my shell to see the world

Knowing my time was limited

But mom made sure I had the best

And boy was I excited

She took me ‘round the world with her

And showed me life is fun

But no one knew, except the Lord

My life in this shell was done

HE took me home to let me rest

Much to her dismay

My life was filled with laughs and smiles

And that I will miss her each and every day
