Passing Wishes

Debake

I wish upon a star, as the saying goes
your happiness to build as fallen dominoes
but this is my request of thee, my dear
love me, watch me, carry me when it is drear

I wish upon a star this and every stolen night
your time to be everlasting and without fright
but this is my appeal to thee, my darling
stand by me with steadfast, loving

I wish upon a star this one last time
your children to be many and without crime
but this is my gift for thee, my daisy
love and happiness as mine to your lady
