Life Cycles

Debake

sunsets, nightfalls
Sun rises, day calls
Work ceases, sleep beckons
Work starts, counting the seconds
School starts, and learning begins
School ends, and Knowledge deepens
Sunsets, nightfalls
Sun rises, day calls

Ambitions today, goals tonight
Early rise, late night
Many dreams, one on sight
Sleepless night, dreadful day
Determined ever, never a sway
Goals tonight, ambitions today

Duties, duties, both here and there
at work, at home, with burdens, everywhere
all day, all night, obligations call
for retribution of all
dreams abound at nightfall
visions of crumpling prison wall
duties now, duties then
not forever, never again

    Good work!

    I understand what you mean.
