Cheerful kitten

Whiskers McGraw

A cheerful kitten in the grass doth play,
With eyes aglow and tail held high in air,
She pounces on the blades, so green and gay,
And batting at the butterflies with care.

Her tiny paws are soft, her fur so sleek,
As she explores this world so new and bright,
With every step, her innocence unique,
And wonder in her eyes, a pure delight.

She chases after bees and butterflies,
With boundless energy and joyous mew,
And in her playful antics, one espies,
The joy of living, pure and true.

Oh, cheerful kitten in the grass so green,
Thy playful spirit is a sight serene.
