Nature's Love

Mr. Not

I live in the mountains
And I roam in the forests
I climb the trees
And I fly with the wind

Because I am nature
Nature is me
It runs through the blood
through oceans and rivers

And I love nature
As nature loves me
The love runs through the sap
And hits like rain on dirt

---norwegian dialect---

E bor i fjella
Å e spring i skogan
E klatre i træra
Å e flyg i vinn'n

For e e natu'urn
Natu'urn e me
Den renn gjænnom bloe
Gjennom have å ælven

Å e ælske natu'urn
Som natu'urn ælske me
Kjærliheta renn gjennom sævja
Å den treff som regn ned på jord

  • Comment from author about the poem: always feel so connected to nature when i write in my dialect. i don't know how to explain it, but it's like i traveled to a place where humans haven't tainted the earth and sat down with my back against a tree while strumming the guitar. its like that feeling, i don't know how my dialect and those things are aligned, but somehow they are.

they call it 'mother tongue' for a reason
I relate to the feeling, dear poet
      thanks for sharing
      'It runs through the blood
      through oceans and rivers'
all made of that same, oneness
      that same 'matter', truly
      lovely imagery

Your comment is appreciated, I always feel so happy when someone notices my choice of words, even more when someone can relate to what I write.
