Shapeless lies define as I hide in the glow of a missing light
Shards of an aura conceal as I rub my eyes
Laughs so sad they can’t be found after counting down to nothing
Punches never thrown connect with the precision of a last puzzle tile
Broken seconds repeat as a dusty needle scratches my skin
Candy colored horses sing as I remount the merry go round that’s my life
