Seeing it all

 

with appreciation

I view the situation

 

in looking around

seeing it all

I'm so grateful for

 

and laughing by myself

for my focus 

not being on the material,

 

but rather on this

fresh awareness of

appreciation, and

 

marvelling in this -

the comprehension -

I am overcome

by a sense of wonder

 

as I see you

sitting, watching

reading the observer -

 

me and my fresh awareness

of growing appreciation

rising in stature -

 

for among others

an unexpected cool day

in the peak of summer

 

bringing with it

the freshness

 

a new understanding of  appreciation facing me

like a new person

I'm being introduced to

 

seeing it all

as if for the first time

I feel like having departed

from being blind

 

thinking that's what Abba knew

his people will assimilate

when scattered,

 

however, never did they loose

their holiness

for set apart they were, chosen

elect if you will

 

and the Word, I realise indeed

did not return empty-handed

the work of redemption was

entirely completed

 

and I'm yet again overcome

by the appreciation

when viewing the situation

looking around

 

I'm so grateful

seeing it all

 

at the peak of summer

brought by the gift,

an unexpected cool day
