Wholesommusic

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

I miss music with a message
With some intelligence
Most has maleficent intent
I like to write stuff and vent
Where has the message gone?
What drugs are you on?
Thinking back to the wholesome
Music had a message
Now all I can envisage
Is a gang of cough syrup addicts
This is called art now?
How tragic

    The magic is sadly gone.
We are left with what appears to be hogswill.... or pre-bacon...

True mate, I have to go to the underground for decent music. Everything being promoted is soft and dumbed down.

Twas ever thus - there were big exceptions in the sixties, seventies and perhaps eighties, but I mostly retreated to 'folk'.

Nothing wrong with that pal, anything but mainstream pop. There doesn't seem to be many proper musicians left these days or if they are they not getting pushed.

Is the theme, as it is more often than not here, looove ? or just repetitive phrases meaning zilch?

I don't think there even is any love in music anymore, for instance what happened to R&B? It's died of death.
