Too Much

I’m sorry if I’m too much

The things I do sometimes I do unconsciously. The love I give I do without permission.

But I’m sorry if I am too much.

These days as we grow older our days are shorter

I value every nook and cranny with the person a lie with at night.

But I am sorry if I am too much.

You learn from the love of the past and mistakes that we make along the way.

Those mistakes create who you are and guides you to the love you give,

But I am sorry I am too much.

I’m needy but would pull back for the sake of my love

With the absence I hope you know it’s all with good intent.

I have a pure heart which is yet to be understood

Yet with all the Love I could give to myself I’d rather give it to the ones I adore most.

Even if those I love the most hurt me the most.

If only you could know what goes through my mind when you’re not around me then maybe you’d understand my passion.

The passion to create memories that’ll last.  The passion to build chemistry, the passion to keep the flame on the candle flutter in the dark room. The passion to keep the roots growing as I water the plant. The root is the foundation, I water it so it could bloom into a beautiful creation.

I am sorry I am too much, but if I was less than what god made me to be, then I am only a puppet.

I am too much because I’m afraid of not giving enough.

I am too much because because I am too much.

I rather be too much than give nothing at all. Yet I still ask why should I be too much when people want me to be less?
