Sweet candles

Reynaldo Casison

With the sweet candle,

of her Sensuous spirit,

She reads Leaves of Grass,

When the maples are stark and bare,

For the sweet, rugged cadences,

And warm, encompassing rhythms,

To soothe her lovely soul,

And we feel an ethereal season,

Of melodious comfort,

And honey trees
