A Melody of Love

Accidental Poet

It’s there in the heart of me

A melody of love

Where her smile lives in me

A sweet Heavenly gift from above

It was a bright sunny day

When I  first saw her smile

The day my whole life changed

Re-directed by a new Sun dial

The music within my heart

To the beat of many tunes

From the brilliant morning Sun

To the pull from the Moon

Listening  attentively

She’s there in every song

My first and last love

My heart’s forever marathon

Last time I saw her

We were just two kids in school

She had to move away

But she taught me the golden rule

It’s there in the heart of me

A melody of love

Where her smile lives in me

A sweet Heavenly gift from above

Thanks Andy. I know it's repetitive, but it comes out the way it comes out. 😉

Do you know what .. I think even if your last visit didn't jog my memory of you & your muse .. I would have found my way here, all on my own .. a smashing love poem my friend 🌹🌹🌹 Neville

Yes I know I've been absent from here for some time now and I apologize. But of the last month and a half I've been very busy moving to a new apartment, cleaning, painting walls, installing carpets, and moving my belongings which I'm still not finished yet. But it is exciting. Thanks for reading and your always uplifting comment my friend.
