Being constantly called to fight the best she knows how.
While the world judges and tugs at her beautiful crown.

He's forever on worry for her, it's around the clock thing.
Afraid he would push her away and fade like a dream.
On stand-by he must, in case the queen needs her king.
Arms ready to hold her, for all the joy she brings.

Her war is a hard one, with enemies on all sides.
They attempt to break her, but she refuses to die.
Although there are days the fight is all inside.
She prevails the task 24 seconds at a time.

His battle is her war and he'll stand by her forever more.
To be the shoulder to lean on in case her soul gets sore.
