Trust:

Trust is something I lack these days. 

It's been a long road and all the turnoffs I've ever taken has lead me back to the same perilous, painful straightaway. 

I believe this is because of my definition of trust. 

"Giving someone the authority to destroy you completely, but having the confidence that they would never do it."

It's human nature to give people the authority to destroy you, but most don't understand it as trust. they take it as an invitation. 

An invitation, to wreak havoc on not only the confidence I have provided them with. but to utterly concave my emotions.
