Pre-date-Her
somewhere in the margin
she waits ..
like an anaconda, pike or
crocodile ..
while the smell of flat fish
grilling
and the sound of us both
splashing
in the shallows ..
served only to excite her
even more ..
although not a single one
believed us
did they darling ..
they were all far too busy
preening ..
and of course, quite simply ..
otherwise
most deliciously engaged ..

A wee peep into group excitement remembered and recounted with expert ability in just a few intriguing lines. Fantastic word-play again dear Sir N............x
You are always so very kind to this old fella Fay .. and as always, many sincere thanks from him to thee .. x
a beautifully picturesque scene
love the playful elements
couldn't help but be inspired to try
and scribble a feeble poetic reply
thank you Hyung, yet again
cheque's in da post
(vivid memento's burdened
with a twinning paradoxical
reservoir
of pooling significance..
see
those scenic recalling, reverie's
however idyllic, come served
aside a biting, searing
afterglow, resonance of that longing
to experience it all, afresh
anew
again n again, in a loop
of rewardingly effervescent
cyclicality..
'once more, dear fate
take us back, once more...')
I am replete sir and truly
All I know is, KP waits like an old trout!
Bet you knew I was gonna say that. lol. It's the botox, you see.
why I am not surprised .. not in the slightest .. 🙂
..."pre-date" that is quite an intriguing concept. That sounds almost quite like a functional screening process.
I'm trying to keep one step ahead of my self .. but find it increasingly difficult because I'm surrounded by predators 🙂
As should we all! Safety First, as a famous adage states.
Your analogy to a predator waiting patiently, stimulated by movement of it's prey is most engaging. Little do we know what lurks when we do not observe. Such a good write my friend.
You have a good eye Bella & a heart as big as a planet .. thank you .. Neville
I have a feeling for the folks in the latter half of your write, Nev: them as can mind their own business.....
Now then, is that a feeling, or a thought Dave .. maybe ?
There's a kind of rightness in their position.....perhaps?
