ELEGY

nephilim56

I will support your head
Tears from a piece of stone
Even granite weeps..it seems
Thought a weary man
A steel bar through his soul
Not wanting to be himself
Words making him different
Too different for their table.

A deep breath in silent awe
Breaks an aging spell
Over I who support your head
Paralysed by tears
Even granite weeps
Thought a weary man
Words making him different
Still willing to support your head.
