Convinced that I do

muhs

I’ve been pretending for so long that I love you, that I’ve convinced myself that maybe I do. And perhaps it’d be easier to just accept I do than to start this whole charade of flirting and loving and the tyranny of wondering if you’re the right one all over again. It hurts even more that you’re okay and you’ve done nothing wrong but it's just me that’s ruining what could be so right. That you believe so arduously that what we have is real and that I love you. I love you. I love you. i’m beginning to think it’s real myself.

(I don’t agree with the concept of playing with love or faking it but I have been there and done that. On both sides of the situation.)

I really enjoyed reading this poem. It is so relatable and I can feel the emotion in each line.

This line “ It hurts even more that you’re okay and you’ve done nothing wrong but it's just me that’s ruining what could be so right. “ is very beneficial because it adds to the reader being able to get a glimpse of the other person’s potential emotion in this.

    Great write. Thanks for sharing.
