i want to love you,
i know i yearn so deeply for it.
i want you to love me.
but the fear that there's a catch,
catches in my throat once more.
i can't,
ill cry.
but i could, i could, i could,
i could if i'd let me.
i could if anyone had ever taught me how to,
had ever warned me that you might come,
that my love and my pain would always exist intertwined.
i don’t know who you are,
but i hope you can repent the sins i carry that aren’t mine.
