Listen Love

NewWolf

There are questions I don't ask; I know I'm not getting the whole truth.
I hold back to keep you from running from me, more importantly, you.
Looking at the reality, everything you do, you choose.
We have emerged strangers, getting the same news.

That the bond we once had, has been shaken loose.
That I am a fading crush, an idea of what you want, but will never choose.
Seeing or hearing me is a waste of your time and you remind me too.
Your alone time won you over, there's nothing I can do.

Ignore me? I thought I was your real friend.
Hate me? Watch "that one" not stay to the end.
Leave me and fully choose them, sever this strand.
Refuse my love, refuse my help, refuse my hand.
How much further do you intend to push away a man?

You show only signs of more distance by the day.
More, "Not You" because your interest is other play.
Why fall into the head using an excuse not to move from Ur space?
Take off depressions coat and splash some "Wake the fuck up!" in your face.

I accept that other things I have no dog in that fight.
Clinging to those you show me, against me, you might.
I see you; you try to take off but you're my main flight.
I need you, but your eyes are on a different sight.

There are questions I don't ask you, but denial is very evident.
I hear your calls, hypnotic and strong, near heaven sent.
We're connected love, but not by our ligaments.
Why do this to us? Why give us, this punishment?

My pleas are whispers under a waterfall.
Dead flowers like the love were tossed,
Autum's breeze turned all the way off.
They are heard but not thought about.

You deserve time to fight, time to heal.
but if I see no changes, I see us in no years.
So, keep fighting, please don't choose to yield,
Win Love Win!!, like I know you will!

I have to think about losing you now.
The storms that'll come and the pain that'll rain down.
The false images "lonely" will place in my crown.
Tormented by nothingness romanced by your sound.
Severed from the only soul I have to be around.

I have to think about losing you now.
The choice you made and how things would change.
The distance that would come, my reach in your range.
Your doubt for my love, that thought would just stain.

Soak the aura out of the gesture to refill it with pain.
Think about my blindness, my kindness, that chain.
Think about the unfairness, try to rationalize our blame.
Think about your laugh, your smile and how you defend hard as a train.

I have to think of that war you're in, alone, refusing help I just cry.
I see you and your actions when they started saying good-bye.
Coming home could have fixed a lot of issues with just a short drive.
I have to think how you say you love me, but I wasn't worth the try.
I'm crazy in love you say, yet I beg you for time.

this is so impassioned, dear Poet
    I'm picturing a scene
with a waterfall of tears and mucus
a last throw of the dice
no curtains to a heart's desperation
    (it's sad, to think
    few people get to experience
such an overwhelming type of love
so many of us, choose to be reserved
committing only what we can afford to lose
    and in so-doing, missing out
on one of life's, immeasurable wonder's)
'Soak the aura out of the gesture to refill it with pain.'
what a great line this is!
