This Teenage Life

Anonymous_01

Teenagers are often distressed.

Their thoughts are never expressed-

Which turns into a regret.

But why?

Because they need a moon to their stars,

Instead, get a lonely mars,

Which tends to be quite harsh.

"Life is a mess!"

The words of every teenager's loneliness.

But these words are immensely less,

To actually delineate the stress.

Being a teenager is difficult.

Remember the days of whimsical,

They hope, somehow a miracle occurs

And brings back the laughing gull.

Maybe they think they are getting old?
Somewhere one said 'Agghh, he (or she) is really old - they will be 30 next year!' lol.

Good day, this is a great poem, I am old but it seems like yesterday that I was a teenager and a not so very good one either. Best regards, Eileen
