Beyonce

My woman don't look like Beyonce
My woman
My woman don't look like Beyonce
My woman
I miss my woman when she is gone
Nasty Beyonce don't turn me on
My woman

My woman knows more than Beyonce
My woman
My woman knows more than Beyonce
My woman
You can't judge a book by its cover
I don't think Beyonce would be much of a lover
My woman

My woman loves the lord
My woman
My woman loves the Lord
My woman
What Beyonce means, it ain't funny
She'd be nobody if not for her money
My woman

My woman is more than an idol
My woman
My woman is more than an idol
My  woman
My woman knows how to dance and how to sing
Too much exposure is a dangerous thing
My woman

My woman ain't no Beyonce fan
My woman
My woman ain't no Beyonce fan
My woman
My woman now and then takes a little drink
Does Beyonce ever get sober enough to think
My woman

My woman ain't scared of work
My woman
My woman ain't scared of work
My woman
It took talent to do what Doc and Earl did
Beyonce is really just a limber kid
My woman

I had read it already and didn't leave a comment or a like because that type of poetry is not especially my cup of tea, hope we still keep reading each others poems though. 🙂

      hello Eileen
The poem "Beyonce" that I wrote is not my favorite cup of tea either, but I feel these threats to our caring, humane, kind way of life cannot be ignored
People like Beyonce, Taylor Swift, etc, must be dealt with and slowed down before they take over our world and our media completely
Please keep writing and posting your beautiful, sensitive poems
I am looking forward to your next work, and plan to look at your other, previous poems published on here
      thanks..........Charlie Farned

Eh good poem but I hate that you named the poem Beyoncé instead of the woman you compared her too
