Jazzing Me

kespat@aol.com

The glistening keys extract the

Hazy reds and golds of the music

Before they flow through me

Teaching me their dance

The syncopation of the drums---boom boom boom then Boom Boom

Set off vibrations within me I didn't know existed

A heartbeat living within the flesh of my middle back

The fleshy mound of my abdomen set to quivering

The erotic wail of the horn wraps me in molten gold

Moves me to move to sway

To attempt to capture the uncapturable

The sensual voluptuousness of the sax releases me

Only to be drawn in by the smooth raucousness of strings manipulated with the dexterity of a well-balanced wine

This is my mellow
