We beg, beseech of the God who

The enemies of the church do

Forever provoke, irritte

That He woudl tame their wild hearts state

 

May their rage subside, calm return

To their hearts, may their minds so turn

Clouded by dark that their sins make

May they repent, for comforts sake

 

And my they see the light, may they

Seek the bishop's prayers, and so say

We shall not his blood seek, for we

Turned from our persecuting be
