Gone are the days of endless rain,
No more tears, no more pain.
With grateful heart, I stand tall,
Overcoming challenges, I conquer all.
I leave behind the past I mourn,
Only cherished memories, I will adorn.
No more sleepless nights, I vow,
Forgiving and healing, I am now.
With a smile, I welcome the day,
Tossing and turning, is a thing of the way.
Forgiving has set me free,
I am at peace, finally I see.
No more waiting for an eternity,
For all things happen, as they should be.
Failures have made me strong,
I embrace the future, I do belong.
Adios to the love I held dear,
Farewell to the promises that are not here.
I stride ahead, with head held high,
For a brighter tomorrow, I reach for the sky.
Rainbows shall rise, and strangers shall knock,
Cliché it may seem, but I've overcome the block.
Better each day, I will become,
Forgetting the past, moving forward, I am strong!
