Distilled Time

Neville

Distilled Time

Stopped clocks ..

Stilled

As time on a mountain

Quickens

But slowly so

And felt ..

Yet still as mountain air

Caught

And cupped

Then

Later savoured perhaps ..

To capture a moment in time is serendipitous, to be saved and treasured. If this poem had a taste, I would say it is champagne. Beautiful my friend!

All the qualities of a distraction free moment, Nev; that moment just there...no knowledge of a beginning or end....

Just telling what I got out of it...never mind what you meant...................🙂

you at your subtle best, Hyung
              these words are so deep
              (memento's, grip
              on our rear-view, mirror
              perspectives, distilled)
              I read and learn
