Many Worlds

Gary Edward Geraci

If we’re not alone

And they’re many worlds above,

Christ’s grace is enough.

So where are you with that, Gary?
'Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence'.
Does Christ's grace stretch to infinity in all directions?
Who are these flat earthers anyway? 🙂
    Dave.

Good question, Dog. I’m with scientific exploration, the discovery of truth, we go about observing what’s true and finding new ways to observe it (the natural world) as what is true does not contradict with THE monotheistic God of reason and truth. Big Bang cosmology seems to offer a good explanation, as does evolution and both are in good favor with the Catholic intelectual tradition. The ‘many worlds’ argument is a rather new perspective - in some cases, it would seem to be less of a leap (more tenable) to believe in the God of Christianity than to believe in the speculations being advanced within the many worlds community. Hey - as long as it’s the truth we are after …

Christ reigns outside of time and so his grace supplies past, present, and future worlds (I’ve heard it called B-time???) I’ve got a Protestant brother (the husband of my hairstylist) who believes in a flat earth. This leaves me rather incredulous given all the great knowledge available to us this day and age. We treat situations like these with mercy, charity, and prayer. What would you have me do? Bear down on him with my beliefs? I can’t do it, Dog.

Does the No.7 Bus go to 'Ye Worlds of Outer Space'? How much is the fare?! lol. Can we take a day trip there and back?
Ain't much intelligent life on Earth sometimes. lol.

In our world, O, we are free to take the Ol’ No. 7 to the very extents of our imaginations, quite literally, to where the sun doesn’t shine. That is, according to the many worlds theorists, to where OUR sun doesn’t shine.
