My wrong Phantom

Moumita

My wrong phantom, you inspire me to write.

How I hate the way you haunt me and chase, Invading my mind, day and through the night,

Always dreaming about the long slow pace.

How do I hate you? Let me count the ways

I hate your uniform arm, smile and eyes.

Thinking of your obtuse smile fills my days,

My hate for you is the breathless disguise

I hold my breath and bear the hurricane ,

Waiting for the sun, for come to hold my sane

you didn't want me, neither were mine,

Even now,in the brightest light I can feel your sign.

My wrong phantom, you inspire me to write.

  • Comment from author about the poem: It's a love poem yet seems to argued against love, it's not an argument against a pure and beautiful beautiful love, it's an argument against the toxic and abusive love.
