What differs me

muhs

What is it mother, that differs me from your other kin?

Is it that I'm not like you? Not in the way she is?

That I don't have your hair, your eyes or your speech? But she does?

Your mannerisms, your qualities,

your expectations of who I'm meant to be?

What is it about me, that you treat so different?

That you treat so different from my dear sister.
