You came into my life like a comet,
I wondered in awe of your beauty.
As you soared though the starry night,
I felt hope even though it was a glimpse.
Not the outer light,
but the inner core.

Little did I know I was falling for you,
like how you pass in the night sky.
From west to east,
my heart ceases to beat.

For I found indeed a friend,
having hope it didn't feel pretend.
You voice is both calm and warm,
like that feeling before a storm.

Time spent with you felt unreal,
like a theatricals play final reveal.
Finding myself both anxious and interested to explore,
that of your heart suchlike the suns radiant core.

Pure freedom only in Jesus Christ,
knowing he paid the ultimate price.
I see his light though and in you,
trusting everything you said is true.

I feel hopeless looking for a wife,
though I know God is my life.
This desire doesn't leave me,
though one day "I" becomes "we".
  
Seeing you pass by,
hoping time will pause.
To enjoy all that is your beauty,
praying you turn course to choose me.
Tough it's not July yet,
grateful to God we met.
