Misery

jessica rose

Staring out the window, I scan the street below

Another night alone, my misery does grow

A heavy heart of sadness, my patience so thin

So tired of waiting, emotions swell within.

My phone provides no comfort, there's no messages to read

Overtaken by deep sorrow, I sink deeper in my seat

Staring at the clock, which never moves or ticks

Here I stay alone - so used to this wait and get sick.

My heart yearn for answers will he never come?

Even though he plainly stated that this wasn't done

I felt this one a lot. One of the best ones I’ve read on here
