Arghhh! It's that day again
That old, very old Orchi
He's millions of years old
Today he's millions plus one years old!
He don't have any fun
And no excitement or ardour
As I've told ya
It's Fido's fault, ya see
Plus I'm married to KP
Ah yes, we'll go out for the evening
KP and I, to The Old Trout Club
Though it'll be a ghastly time
She's the Chairperson! heehee
Ya can all pop rounds for drinks this weekend
They might taste a bit funny though
That'll be me adding water to them
Orchi, a.k.a. The Phantom Whisky*-Waterer
(* or whatever your tipple is)
Write a love poem, for KP and I
Bring it along with ya
Though mark it 18+ if need be
Or Fido will bark at ya
Ya won't get into the house even
When he guards it from those in the category
'Poems that should be marked 18+ but are not'!
Ohh, yes, I'm 21 again
About 5,000 times over
I've not done the maths for this
Does it work out to millions of years?!

I wrote you a very long exquisitely (even if I do say so myself) worded and metered poem, which knowing I'd never get past that savage hound (the baits haven't worked so far - I'll have to modify the brew slightly) I folded it into a paper plane and attempted to lob through your attic window. Unfortunately it lodged in the gutter and a gust of wind blew it away....... so sorry orchi - no greetings from me today (never mind you have had thousands of years to collect 'em) …🙂
